The first to be Tribally nominated, the proposed Chumash Heritage National Marine Sanctuary (CHNMS) is now in the designation period. To strengthen this process, we are working together to blend traditional and scientific knowledge to paint a much richer picture of coastal biodiversity. Please join us for a virtual launch event to discuss our work:
