Tides of Belonging: Advancing AAPI Engagement in MPA Conservation #2

With funding from the MPA Collaborative Network’s Climate Microgrant Program, Cabrillo National Monument and the EcoLogik Institute collaborated on a special edition issue of their Conservation + Comics series focused on educating the public on the climate science (ocean acidification and intertidal long-term monitoring) occurring within the park’s MPA bounds and how that information informs park management and protection.

Conservation + Comics pairs youth artists with mentors to create visual storytelling over a multi-month program.
