Overview: As always, the first step in developing a collaborative project was collecting collaborative input. In 2023, the CN launched a survey and hosted 14 community-based climate forums about climate change, the coast, and MPAs. Read all 15 climate reports here.
In 2023, the CN launched a survey and hosted 14 community-based climate forums (one in each MPA Collaborative county) where residents shared their experiences and perspectives about climate change, the coast, and MPAs. This data was collected and analyzed, which contributed to the publication of 14 community-based reports and 1 statewide report. All 15 reports are now available for you to review below!
Statewide Climate Report
The statewide climate report reflects the collective takeaways and recommendations, as well as summarizes the state’s greatest concerns, needs, and priorities per residents of California’s coastal counties.
