Join California Department of Fish and Wildlife and explore the State of the California North Coast.
Click here for an event flyer – and thank you for sharing far and wide!
These free events will be open to the diverse ocean community in the North Coast, including fishermen, California Tribes and Tribal communities, researchers, citizen scientists, educators, and others interested in the monitoring and adaptive management of California’s MPAs. At each community gathering, participants will learn about:
- The State of the California North Coast report, a synopsis of ecological, biological, oceanographic, and socioeconomic conditions during the initial phase of monitoring.
- The status of California’s MPA Management Program, including next steps for long-term MPA monitoring.
A similar program will be presented at each event. Be sure to revisit this announcement for additional event details, including a program for the events and information about presentations.
