Getting to Know Your Seaweeds
Saturday June 7th 9am-12pm
We learn about responsible/sustainable seaweed harvesting practices, followed by a Seaweed ID walk at Pillar Point Tidepools and a workshop to process our seaweed samples for a future art/science exhibit. We’re hoping to bring together members of the public and local families to learn about and share ways to care for and interact with seaweeds, and create opportunities for teamwork and connections among existing San Mateo MPA Collaborative members.
