The next Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary (CINMS) Advisory Council meeting is on Friday March 21, from 9:00 am to 12:45 pm PT. The meeting will be held in a hybrid format as a primarily in-person event at the Ventura College in Guthrie Hall (4667 Telegraph Rd, Ventura) with an option for joining online. Meeting highlights will include presentations on whale research in the Channel Islands region, an introduction to Seagrass bed monitoring conducted by the sanctuary research team, and a brief presentation by the NOAA Ocean Guardians from Buena High School.

Information regarding in-person and remote participation, driving instructions, meeting topics, and future meeting dates will be included on the draft agenda.
